Starring Coley Wallace, Hilda Simms, James Edwards, Paul Stewart; directed by Robert Gordon.
In an era where you’d least expect it, this film portrays the infamous Joe Louis and his rise to glory. This is by far one of the best films I’ve seen whereas most of the characters are of color. I truly enjoyed the performance and the script was well written. I would have loved to seen more work from the principal actors but considering the time in which they lived, I’m proud that they were able to participate in such a monumental part of storytelling, particularly as it relates to Black Hollywood. Enjoy!
